Pi Day, celebrating the mathematical constant 3.14 on 3/14, routinely offers up a slew of deals from pizza pie to apple pie to chicken pot pie for customers.

Mellow Mushroom's Charlotte spots are offering a small cheese pizza for $3.14 with any purchase of a pizza.

Every Pi Day, my brother-in-law, a PhD math/physics guru, posts an endearingly nerdy treatise about pi on Facebook.

Pagliacci Pizza, multiple locations (except Greenwood, Queen Anne and downtown Kirkland) - Two slices of pizza for $3.14, or buy one 11-inch pizza and get the second for $3.14. You'll need a coupon (print it out or show it on your phone) available on its website.

Revealing the news on social media, PI explain "March 14th is known as "Pi Day".

Mountain Mike's is offering $5 off any "mountain-sized" pizza (that's a really big pizza) and $3 off any large-sized pizza.

With a purchase of any bread, you can get a one-topping medium pie for $3.14.

Stop and Shop stores are selling select apple, pumpkin, and Dutch apple pies for $3.14 on Pi Day. Ontario pizza chain Pi Co will also be celebrating Pi Day with a $3.14 pizza special.

If you buy one chicken pot pie and a drink at Boston Market, you'll get another pot pie free-score. All numbers aside, Pi Day also happens to be a great day for foodies, with many restaurants offering discounts on pi (es) in all forms.
