"We're all very excited, and the energy you're going to feel is far different than anything you've ever felt", Keys said.

It is also nominated for a Grammy Award for Record of the Year, and this year's host Alicia Keys has now given her own take on the song.

The 38-year-old songstress appeared on The Late Late Show With James Corden where she and the musical host performed a parody cover of the hit song "Shallow", changing the lyrics to be about her upcoming GRAMMYs hosting gig.

The 15-time Grammy victor revealed she's looking forward to the prospect of more female acts following in her footsteps this year, adding: "Celebrating so many wonderful nominees, particularly women nominees ... is so incredibly magnificent and so many are my friends".

"There's a sense of community that I want to bring to the stage", she explained. And while the Recording Academy has made a concerted effort over the past year to be more inclusive and make sure more women were in the top categories and onstage Sunday night, women behind the scenes in music remain outnumbered. "I'm so excited to be the master of ceremonies on the biggest night in music and celebrate the creativity, power and magic. It's going UP on February 10!"

Keys announced that she'd be hosting the show in a video posted to her YouTube channel. "Maybe you could give me some advice", she sweetly replies.

Current nominees Chloe x Halle, Grammy victor Lady Gaga, Grammy victor Mark Ronson and Grammy nominee Travis Scott are set to perform Sunday. For this year's 61st edition though, five of the eight acts nominated for the prestigious Album of the Year category are women - with Cardi B, Brandi Carlile, H.E.R., Janelle Monae, and Kacey Musgraves all receiving nods.

Grammy winners Yolanda Adams, Fantasia and past Grammy nominee Andra Day will honor the legendary Aretha Franklin.
