Now Russian website Wylsa has managed to get their hands on the Pixel 3 Lite. After first popping up on the internet on November 17, the Pixel 3 Lite was the star of several leaks, culminating with today's special appearance. Just as they did with the Pixel 3 XL, they're now showing it off to the world before it's even announced.

Depending on the price, would you buy the Pixel 3 Lite? The design language is the same with a dual tone finish on the rear panel which has a circular fingerprint scanner positioned at the centre as well as a Google logo at the bottom. But it certainly looks like the company has another variant on the way.

A new development has come up with the alleged Google Pixel 3 Lite smartphone.

The phone, codenamed Sargo, is a toned down Pixel 3 that uses plastic rather than glass.

Any specifications at this point should be taken with a pinch of salt, but the rumour mill suggests a 5.6in IPS display with 2,280x1,080 resolution, a Snapdragon 670 processor, 4GB of RAM and at least 32GB of storage. However, the Lite will feature the same main camera sensor as that of the Pixel 3 XL and will additionally also feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.

There's no word on when this mid-range Pixel will be released, but there's only a month left in 2018, so we are probably looking at a launch early next year (CES, maybe?).
