This is the first time the royal has publicly returned to the kitchen since the announcement of her pregnancy in mid-October.

The Duchess of Sussex has made a return visit to a community kitchen which inspired her collaborative work on a Grenfell charity cookbook.

Meghan went to the Hubb Community Kitchen, not far from the site of the deadly tower block blaze in West London, to see first hand the progress made since the Together cookbook went on sale in September.

Meghan was greeted by Zaheera Sufyaan, a kitchen coordinator and one of the contributors to the book.

Prior to her visit, it was announced that the cookbook had sold approximately 40,000 copies in the United Kingdom and raised $270,000 in the seven weeks that it'd been on sale.

The Duchess is now in her second trimester of pregnancy and recently returned from a lengthy 16-day tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand with her husband, Prince Harry. The project was set up by women looking for a place to prepare family meals following the June 2017 disaster.

According to the Palace, the women are now able to use the kitchen seven days a week and gain qualifications to launch their own initiatives to help benefit the kitchen and their community.
