Thankfully, ITV's stepped in to quash the rumours, calling them "absolute rubbish", as Digital Spy reports.

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here airs nightly on ITV.

Holly Willoughby is proving to be a seriously entertaining host alongside Dec on this year's I'm A Celebrity and as we see Emily Atack freak out whilst taking on "Viper Pit" in the first bush tucker trial of the year, Holly is nearly as nervous as her, admitting to Dec she's "never seen anything like this".

During I'm A Celebrity: Extra Camp, host Joel Dommet revealed a surprising static that may confirm Emily's fate in the jungle.

They confirmed: "We are very happy with Holly presenting alongside Dec".

As the theme tune to the ITV daytime show began playing, Dec turned to her and asked: "What's in store for us this morning, Holly?"

McPartlin has taken a break away from TV following his drink-driving conviction.

Atack replied "I would love that" and was then seen giving the sign of the cross before sitting down to pray.

She was later told she had broken a Jungle record as the trial she had just completed had the most snakes ever in I'm A Celebrity history.

"Relieved, like massively. It's just so overwhelming this show, you walk in and you're here, like you've watched this on TV, it's been part of my life for years and now I'm here".

After the first two episodes of I'm A Celeb 2018, however, many fans have taken to social networks to criticise Holly's presenting skills on the show - slamming her "lack of banter" and calling her "stiff as a board".

Are you enjoying Holly's appearance on the show?
