There is literally no other player in the league that would be able to pull something like this off, but James might be the most unique National Basketball Association player we've seen in a long time.

The four-time NBA Most Valuable Player has performed 13 times in Sacramento for the Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat in the past 15 seasons, winning nine times.

The Lakers went into the day unsure if starting point guard Lonzo Ball would play after turning his ankle in practice, but he made a decision to give it a go and square off with college rival De'Aaron Fox, who has had a nice start to the season in Sacramento. That's right: Lord forgive James, but it's time to get back to the old LeBron by tossing a headband on.

Sacramento's balance helped overcome a 39-point, 19-rebound explosion by Minnesota's Karl-Anthony Towns.

"He has size, he can jump over somebody, shoot the ball (and) he's physical", Kings coach Dave Joerger said this week.

"I think it helps stabilize us", Walton said. But there is no doubt an additional big man would provide some much needed depth as they have been trying to break out of their early-season slump.

The Los Angeles Lakers are back to.500 after picking up a win over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.

The Los Angeles Lakers beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 114-110 lead by LeBron James' 24-point, 10-rebound and 9-assist performance.

However, a spell of turnovers from Lance Stephenson and Tyson Chandler allowed the Kings to get a pair of easy dunks part of the way through the second, which changed the momentum of the game and allowed them to go on a run to end the half that cut Los Angeles' lead to just six.

James had 24 points, Kyle Kuzma 21 and Brandon Ingram 20 in the win.

Chandler, now 36, would debut with the Lakers on Wednesday night after he was bought out following three seasons with the Suns. Both Kings backcourt-mates are coming of double-doubles (16p, 10a for Fox, 15p, 10r for Hield) and will be instrumental in guiding the Sacramento Kings to a win in this one.

The injury, which isn't considered serious, occurred when Ball stepped on a teammate's foot during Friday's team workout.
