Deceased Republican Brothel Owner Dennis Hof Elected To Nevada Assembly

He was believed to have died in his sleep.

The HBO reality show Cathouse focused on the daily happenings at Hof's Moonlite BunnyRanch, a legally owned and operated brothel.

Mr Hof ran as an outspoken Republican for Nevada's Assembly District 36 before his death at the age of 72.

Signs were posted at polling places to inform voters in the district that Hof had died, but Republicans launched a campaign encouraging people to still vote for him and prevent the seat from falling into Democratic hands.

His campaign manager, Chuck Muth, announced the death on Twitter the following day, stating that he had been found unresponsive by Jeremy himself.

Hof died at his Love Ranch brothel in Crystal, Nevada, on October 16 shortly after having sex with prostitute Dasha Dare.

"They will feel much more comfortable casting the ballot for him knowing there will be another Republican to replace him". He continued the festivities at his brothel with reality television personality Flavor Flav and porn-film actor Ron Jeremy, who found Hof dead the next morning.

Nevada's 36th Assembly District sits in the southern portion of the state, and includes portions of Nye, Lincoln and of Clark counties. Odom entered a coma but survived.

"There are a lot of Republicans who were uncomfortable voting for Dennis because of the nature of his business and they now know that he is not the one who will be serving", Muth told Reuters last month.

Initial estimates suggested the deceased Hof won almost 70% of the vote.

Hof joined the Republican Party after President Donald Trump was elected and mimicked the president's tone in his own campaign, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The former brothel owner, who described himself as the "Trump of Pahrump" (a town in Nevada), was expected to win in the general election after upsetting incumbent Assemblyman James Oscarson.
