Blizzard announces its first mobile-only Diablo game

It features McCree squaring off against the Deadlock gang, led by his frenemy Ashe - a cowgirl with a hunting rifle and Overwatch's 29th hero. Ashe is a former associate of McCree and has a lot of tricks up her sleeve.

Ashe uses fellow Deadlock Gang member her ultimate attack, and Blizzard teased some exciting new skins coming down the road. You can play as four diverse races, each with their own units, abilities, and champions from the World of Warcraft universe.

The shiny new version of the 2002 classic will include all content from Reign of Chaos and its expansion, The Frozen Throne. It's one of the best real-time strategy games ever made, and revolutionized the genre back in 2002.

BlizzCon attendees are able to play the iconic The Culling mission from the human campaign.

"Diablo Immortal is an all-new mobile massively multiplayer online action-role-playing game for iOS and Android".

This announcement affected not only Diablo fans who were present at that "bloodcurdling" moment, but it also reached the most powerful thing of the 21st century - the social media.

Early gameplay shows all six of the classes in action so we know it can support at least six players at once. The game is set between Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction and Diablo 3 and deals with the aftermath of the shattered Worldstone and humanity's fight against it's corrupting power and the evil that would control it.

The new video focused on Varok Saurfang and is titled Lost Honor. It's being developed in collaboration with NetEase. Leading the pack of theories was speculation that Diablo IIII would be announced to cap the show. Anyone who downloads the game through the client will get to keep it forever - the flawless way to dip your toes in and get a taste of life as a Guardian if you haven't played yet. Suffice to say, fans are growing inpatient for a new entry. The highlight is undoubtedly a Meat Wagon mount for World of Warcraft, featuring a fully working catapult. Unlike WoW Classic, however, Virtual Ticket holders will not get to tryout the demo of the game online.
