Despite its similarities, this isn't the iPhone 5C all over again; instead, the iPhone XR feels very much like a premium device, just at a much lower cost than the iPhone XS and XS Max.

For those users in India who want to buy the Apple iPhone XR, here's how they can pre-book the smartphone right away. The high-end iPhone XR will hit retail shelves on October 26 in India and other major global markets including the US, UK, UAE etc.

On the bright side, the phone features the same 50-percent faster A11 Bionic chipset as its more expensive cousins, along with the same new and improved main camera, albeit in a single-camera form factor with one less sensor as compared to the iPhone XS and XS Max.

The iPhone Xr is made from aerospace-grade aluminium and is available in a variety of colourful finishes.

Several weeks after the iPhone XS and XS Max went on sale, we're finally getting closer to the release of the iPhone XR. Additionally, the iPhone XR is IP67 rated for dust and water resistance.

The iPhone XR comes in five colours: Black, white, yellow, coral and a special edition that comes in red. The iPhone XR is the cheapest 2018 iPhone Apple introduced, with prices starting at $749 for the 64GB version.

For selfies, the iPhone XR sports a 7MP selfie camera with a f/2.2 aperture along with a TrueDepth camera for FaceID.

Customers will be able to pre-order iPhone XR beginning tomorrow with it physically arriving in stores from Friday, October 26. What are the iPhone XR's differentiators, compared to the XS line?

Reports earlier this fall suggested the delayed launch of the more affordable device came as a result of production backups, with suppliers struggling to crank out the LCD displays.

This phone features plenty of new technology including a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina edge-to-edge display, wireless charging and new A12 Bionic processor which is now outperforming all of its Android rivals in speed tests.
