Epic Games Disables Fortnite Shadow Stones One Day After Introducing Them

For those unaware, Shadow Stones were disabled yesterday due to an undisclosed issue, and it only took Epic less than a day to pinpoint the problem, resolve it, and then bring them back into the game.

According to a recent datamine from the crew over at FNBRLeaks, the new Freeze Traps will be a Rare item described as "Hits all enemies on trap when triggered doing small damage and slowing players". More seriously, there's a way to keep access to guns while invisibility is active, allowing you to kill other players without ever being seen.

The beginning of Season 6 also means that players can now acquire the Battle Pass, which costs 950 V-Bucks. There are now a total of three pets available as part of the season six battle pass. Players can also unlock varied appearances of the pets at higher tiers of the battle pass. The downside to using them is that you can't use any weapons or items when in the shadow form and you leave behind a trail when moving around. Check out our guide on the new map changes in Fortnite. Check out our map below for where you can find them all.

Fatal Fields area now has corn fields.

For those who have never boarded the Battle Bus, "Fortnite" features a Battle Royale where 100 players descend on an island in an environment similar to "The Hunger Games". Remote explosives, the LMG, Impulse Grenades and Bounce Pads have also been removed from the game. What do you think about all of the changes made to the world of Battle Royale? The addition of pets will probably be particularly exciting for the Battle Pass faithful, and we're definitely interested in seeing the new pets Epic rolls out in future seasons.

Epic Games has finally published their trailer for Fortnite Season 6.
