"In Italy, it's possible, " said Sarri, who arrived in the offseason from Italian side Napoli.

"It's not a big problem now".

Maurizio Sarri's men now sit two points adrift of league leaders Liverpool but Luiz remains confident in the methods of the new manager.

Asked whether he considered the result to be one point gained or two points dropped, Sarri replied: "I don't know where you take the statistics of the match but, in my statistics, we had seven opportunities against their three".

But it is in defence that Sarri will have the most concern as he prepares to face Liverpool's formidable front line next weekend.

"We have to play against a very, very good team", said the 59-year old. I don't know why they lost their first four matches in the league, but they are really a very good team.

Cahill replaced Rudiger in the 69th minute of Chelsea's 0-0 draw away at West Ham United on Sunday, with the Germany defender limping off.

West Ham squandered the best chance of the game when Andriy Yarmolenko headed wide late in the second half from point-blank range.

- Chelsea midfielder Jorginho attempted 180 passes in this match - since 2003-2004, this is the most by a player in a single Premier League match. It's impossible to win every match.

Portuguese worldwide Joao Moutinho is one of Mendes's many clients to arrive at Molineux and curled his first goal for the club into the top corner to earn a deserved point.

Sarri wants Hazard to focus his energies on the final third of the pitch.

Below are some of their reactions to the West Ham man's performance.

Chelsea finished the half with a flourish, but N'Golo Kante's header from Willian's cross went just wide. I am surprised. In Naples, the first month was very hard.

"I don't know. I don't think so", he told reporters when ask if playing on Thursday affected the result (via Evening Standard). Many of Chelsea's attacks are crippled by a general lack of width.

It's not hard to imagine Sarri's high defensive line being torn to shreds, particularly if Rudiger's injury deprives the Blues of all recovery speed.

Chelsea FC will then prepare to welcome Liverpool FC to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League next weekend as they look to bounce back to winning ways.

"They are a step forward than us at the moment".
