Sanchez to start for Man United - Mourinho

Boasting a strong squad of Portuguese compatriots, Nuno Santos has led his side to an early mid-table position and they sit just one point behind United.

"Not a good performance, not a good result".

Jose Mourinho made no bones about who he thought was to blame for Manchester United's 1-1 draw at home to Wolves on Saturday.

Mourinho's remarks are likely to be welcomed by Pogba especially as the Portuguese had reportedly angered the 25-year-old last month when he implied Pogba played much better for France at the World Cup than he did for United last season as he was not surrounded by his entourage.

Wolves are the only Premier League team to secure a positive result against defending champions Manchester City in the current campaign. We didn't have that. Subscribe to our SMS sports service by texting "SPORTS" to 22840.

United go into the Wolves game on a run of three straight victories, conceding only one goal in the process.

"I thought it was a point deserved, but we had the chances that showed with better decisions we could have won", he said. We started poorly, we started both halves at a low intensity.

It has been a unusual few weeks for Manchester United and Mourinho, who, having lost two of their opening three games of the season and being tipped for the sack, have bounced back to win their last three games.

Asked if Sanchez still has another level to reach, Mourinho added: "Every player has another level to step up". You don't need to have experiences at the highest level to learn that.

"It is a basic law of football, you have to play at the maximum of your potential, unless you are playing in such a weak league against such weak opponents where playing at 30 percent of your potential is enough".

United certainly have momentum ahead of Saturday's visit of Wolves after beating Young Boys 3-0 in Wednesday's Champions League opener.

"I can't explain the difference of attitude because I never had a difference of attitude", he said.

"So, for me, it's hard to explain that".

"And I could say [we were] exhausted, Champions League, very bad pitch [at Young Boys], the body suffered a different impact than a match in natural grass, not coming home after the match".

"It's not about the biggest names, it is my team". So yes, it's a mental situation.

'I want him to play totally fresh, ' said Mourinho.
