Ramos, 32, also suggested that Klopp continues to use the Salah injury as a reason for Liverpool's 3-1 loss to deflect attention from the German's infamous losing record in finals.

Ramos was at the heart of several talking points in Kiev after injuring Mo Salah and appearing to strike Loris Karius in the head which Liverpool claim left him concussed.

Klopp, having kept shtum on Ramos for weeks, finally snapped when asked about him ahead of a pre-season friendly with Manchester United in MI.

"Some of us have been operating at a very high level for many years, not sure Klopp can say the same".

Gary Lineker has taken to social media to praise Mohamed Salah after the Egypt global helped to fire Liverpool FC's to a 4-0 win over West Ham United in their opening game of the Premier League season.
