Sergio Ramos hits back at Jurgen Klopp over Champions League final failures

Ramos, 32, also suggested that Klopp continues to use the Salah injury as a reason for Liverpool's 3-1 loss to deflect attention from the German's infamous losing record in finals.

Ramos was at the heart of several talking points in Kiev after injuring Mo Salah and appearing to strike Loris Karius in the head which Liverpool claim left him concussed.

Klopp, having kept shtum on Ramos for weeks, finally snapped when asked about him ahead of a pre-season friendly with Manchester United in MI.

Speaking before Real's Uefa Super Cup match against Atletico Madrid in Tallinn on Wednesday Ramos said he still rated Klopp. He should take care of his own business'.

"Some of us have been operating at a very high level for many years, not sure Klopp can say the same".

Gary Lineker has taken to social media to praise Mohamed Salah after the Egypt global helped to fire Liverpool FC's to a 4-0 win over West Ham United in their opening game of the Premier League season.

Sergio Ramos has taken a swipe at Jürgen Klopp's managerial record.

He is a four-time La Liga winner and four-time Champions League winner with Real Madrid, and a two-time European Championship winner and a World Cup winner with Spain, a country he captains and has represented 156 times.

"Maybe he held my arm first, and I have no intention of hurting a player deliberately".

'But in the end he is a great coach and I voted for him for the Coach of the Year award'.

The player said Klopp was trying to find an excuse for loosing the final after having lost six out of seven finals.

Perhaps Klopp will respond, although it is more likely he will brush this off and all will settle.until the teams meet again.
