The neo-Nazis are planning to protest in front of the White House, while a coalition of progressive groups has organized an "anti-racist" counter-protest nearby.

"Being used by Donald Trump for so long, I was like the frog in the hot water", she said.

The tweets are notable because her father drew scorn after the Charlottesville bloodshed for initially avoiding any condemnation of the torch-bearing white supremacists who took part in that rally.

Ivanka Trump and her husband reportedly pressured her father to single out white supremacists and neo-Nazis immediately after the violence previous year, and he did - and then reversed himself within a day, once again blaming both sides. "It's stopping people from punching back".

Katrina Pierson, an adviser to Trump's re-election campaign who served as a spokeswoman for his 2016 campaign, said she had never heard Trump use the kind of derogatory language Manigault Newman alleges.

Manigault-Newman had appeared on Trump's TV reality show, "The Apprentice", as well as the reality show "Celebrity Big Brother".

Donald Trump has responded to allegations he is a "racist" and tapes exist of him repeatedly using "the N-word" by calling his accuser a "low-life". "And now she writes a book and all of a sudden she's like an oracle".

"I heard his voice as clear as you and I are sitting here", she said on the show.
"That's a complete fabrication by Omarosa".

"I was honored when he appointed me, a single mother, as the first black National Spokeswoman for a winning US presidential campaign", it read.
