Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar has been named France's Player of the Year at an awards ceremony in Paris on Sunday. The 26-year-old Brazil worldwide succeeded team-mate Edinson Cavani and was presented with the prize by compatriot Ronaldo.

The 26 year-old player has a contract with PSG for another four years and at the moment he is focusing on his return from injury ahead of the World Cup.

"Who says he can not stay here?"

The footballing world went insane last summer when Neymar left La Liga giants Barcelona in order to join French side PSG for a world record fee of €222 million.

Meanwhile, he is expected to return early enough to make Brazil squad going to the World Cup as they battle Switzerland on June 17 in their opening group game in Russian Federation. Otherwise, I would spend my whole life talking about it. "It's a bit annoying", he said.

"All transfer windows, we talk about these things", Neymar told L'Equipe.

But speaking with journalists about his future after receiving his award in Paris, Neymar said he is "thinking only about the World Cup" and that "we will see after that", before expressing some frustration.

And he has already led the French club to a treble this season, but crashed out of the Champions League at the second round stage in February. "But I am sure he will be a Paris Saint-Germain player".

Pogba might be tempted to join the French team following the fallen out he had with his manager Jose Mourinho sometime in the middle of this season. In the overall assessment, it's a good season that ended up being a little spoiled by the injury I had.

Despite being injured since late February, the Brazil global scored 19 goals and provided 13 assists from just 20 outings in Le Championnat. Emery, who will leave PSG at the end of the season, won the coach of the year award.
