Following the release of theSNES Classic Nintendo promised to deliver more consoles in 2018 and bring back the NES Classic. A lot of collectors are interested in buying both, so it's great that Nintendo is giving them that opportunity. The NES Classic contains 30 games and costs $60 while the SNES Classic contains 21 games and costs $80.

As such, the Jump Famicom Mini (as we're dubbing it) will come pre-loaded with 20 games based on popular manga that graced the magazine's pages.

After months of immediately selling out whenever it came in stock, the NES Classic was discontinued by Nintendo in April 2017.

True to its promise and its idea of announcing important things when no one expects, Nintendo has just ignited the spirit and expectation of all those players who could not acquire an NES Classic Edition.

Nintendo recently confirmed that the Nintendo Switch Virtual Console is dead, with no more plans to bring the Virtual Console brand to the hybrid console or to any other Nintendo system. If you missed the miniature Nintendo console the first time around, you're in luck!

Nintendo became its saving grace. If you were persistent, you could (usually) find the SNES Classic in stores.

NES Classics are coming back, baby.

Nintendo seemed unsure, at least for a while, whether they'd release more NES Classic Minis, despite the clear demand for the system. Nintendo has assured that the gaming console will be available until the end of the year.
