With sevens convert Virimi Vakatawa at outside centre, Racing pose a significant threat out wide and Leinster senior coach Stuart Lancaster is wary of their individual ability.

Dan Carter will play no part in the European Champions Club final between his side Racing 92 and Leinster because of a hamstring injury, organisers said Saturday.

The game kicks off at 5.45pm local time so we'll be on air for 4.45pm with full commentary and analysis.

Sexton is now hoping to finish the season on a high, with a domestic semi-final against Munster next on the agenda. But Leo Cullen's side ended the holders' grip on the trophy with a 30-19 victory at Aviva Stadium.

This resulted in Racing travelling to French rivals Clermont in their last-eight tie but the visitors produced a dominant second-half performance to overturn a slight deficit and win 28-17.

In between times an absorbing and brutal, if at times ugly, first half had played out in Bilbao as Leinster counteracted Iribaren's sniping with a kicking game that targeted their opponents' back three's lack of height. A Munster fightback tightened the scoreline but Racing were always in control during their 27-22 win.

Teddy Iribaren replaces injury victim Maxime Machenaud in the number nine jersey, while there is no place in the squad for Argentinean Juan Imoff. His absence will undoubtedly make their task harder although they still have a squad full of internationals including World Cup victor Dan Carter in his final season at the club.

Ryan, meanwhile, is still awaiting his first defeat since breaking into both the Leinster and Ireland sides over the past 12 months.

Racing 92 - runners-up two seasons ago - are looking to claim their first title in the club's history.

There are no obvious weaknesses in Leinster's team, with their set-piece exceptionally strong and the backline stacked with quality.

Sexton levelled the scores with a penalty of his own in the opening quarter and the two kickers would exchange further three-pointers to leave the scores level at 6-6 at the break.

Fergus McFadden's injury suffered against the Scarlets in the semi-final sees Jordan Larmour come in for his third start of the competition, while scrum-half Luke McGrath has recovered from the ankle injury which had kept him on the sidelines to partner Johnny Sexton at half-back.
