Starting with the 2012 movie The Avengers, the first film that united the superhero squad in preparation for the more recent Avengers: Infinity War, Reddit user IsaacDaKing edited Thanos into one of the most iconic scenes from the movie.

All things considered, it will be interesting to see how the Fortnite community responds to these modifications to Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet mode as a whole after playing it for a while. It's not just Thanos alone. Play as Thanos as you face hundreds of opponents in one of the premium "Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup" modes. They made a decision to track down Epic games worldwide creative director Donald Mustard and, after brainstorming some ideas, the Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mashup mode was born.

To be clear, this is not a simple skin players are trying to take control of. Thanos' shield cap has been decreased from 300 to 200, laser damage vs. players has been decreased from 15 to 12, and his max health has been increased from 700 to 800. By this January, Fortnite had taken in a substantial fraction of PUBGs concurrent players and by February overtook them by a good margin.

We're glad they did though, the cross-over is a super fun addition to the game. Of course the nature of the game dictates which way this will fall. In this gamer's completely unfounded opinion, they brought out the nerf hammer a little too soon this time. It's unlike anything we've done before and we want to know what you think!

Have you had a chance to play as Thanos in Fortnite yet?
